Elementary Director

If you believe Goldfish crackers and Holy Spirit moments can coexist, this role might be for you. Hill Country Bible Church in Austin, TX is searching for a leader who loves kids, thinks strategically, and believes discipleship starts early in life. This is your chance to lead a team into deeper relationships, richer formation, and contagious joy in a church learning to slow down and go deep.

Elementary is where faith starts taking root. It's the room where a child learns that Jesus knows them and loves them, where questions are welcomed, friendships are formed, and Sunday mornings can shape a faith that lasts far beyond childhood.

We're looking for an Elementary Director to lead that. Someone who can build environments where kids encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience the joy of being part of the church—while also leading and developing the people who make those moments possible.

This isn't only a Sunday role. You'll lead and develop volunteers, partner with families, and help shape the experiences that influence kids throughout their elementary years. You'll think beyond programs and activities to create meaningful opportunities for discipleship, connection, and spiritual growth.

You'll lead with both vision and a servant's heart, building a team that feels equipped, encouraged, and valued. You'll help create spaces where kids are safe, known, and loved—and where families feel confident partnering with us as they raise their children to know and follow Jesus.

If leading kids toward Jesus is your calling and developing the people who lead alongside you is your joy, we'd love to talk.

Job Description and Application

Stewardship Director

At Hill Country Bible Church, we believe one of the clearest paths to spiritual freedom runs through how we hold what God has entrusted to us. We're looking for a Stewardship Director to lead our people into that freedom.

This is a discipleship calling at its core. Through teaching, coaching, and pastoral guidance, you'll walk alongside individuals, families, small groups, and ministry leaders as they come to recognize God as the owner of all things and grow as faithful stewards of their time, talents, and treasures. You'll also shape the bigger picture — building the church's stewardship vision and the pathways that help generosity take root across the congregation. It's relational and strategic at once.

This is an on-site, on-staff role, whether it's filled at 20 hours a week or full-time. We've built it that way on purpose. Stewardship discipleship happens in real relationships, and we want this person in the office, sharing the daily rhythm of our staff team and known by the people they serve. It's a genuine part of the ministry here, not something to tuck alongside a separate career.

In the same spirit, we're looking for someone who will call Hill Country home — living nearby, attending faithfully, and becoming a member. The best of this work flows out of discipling people you actually do life with.

Success here isn't measured by giving totals. It's measured by evidence of heart transformation and discipleship growth in the people you serve.

Job Description and Application

Worship Director

Worship is where people meet Jesus. It's the room where a first-time guest senses something real, where a long-time believer is reminded of who God is, and where a team of musicians and creatives grows into worshipers who lead from overflow.

We're looking for a Worship Director to lead that. Someone who carries Sunday with both spiritual depth and creative excellence — planning services that align with what God is doing across our church, leading the congregation into authentic worship, and building a team that's discipled, developed, and sent.

This isn't only a stage role. You'll mentor musicians and vocalists, partner closely with our creative and production teams to shape the full worship experience, and help people encounter God beyond Sunday — in events, retreats, and gathered worship throughout the week. You'll lead with a servant's heart, model what it looks like to walk with Christ, and treat every person on your team as someone worth growing.

If leading worship is your calling and discipling worship leaders is your joy, we'd love to talk.

Job Description and Application

Facilities Coordinator (PT)

The spaces we create matter. They're where people gather, relationships grow, ministry happens, and lives are changed. From a first-time guest walking through our doors to a ministry team preparing for an event, the environment around them helps communicate that they are welcome and cared for.

We're looking for a part time Facilities Coordinator, working up to 28 hours per week, to help make that possible. Someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, keeping things organized, and helping create spaces that are ready for whatever ministry needs next.

This role is about more than facilities and supplies. You'll interact regularly with staff, guests, contractors, and vendors; help ministry leaders plan for events and use of our facilities and grounds; coordinate support needs; and help ensure the details behind each space are taken care of. You'll also assist with managing supplies, scheduling HVAC systems, reviewing calendar events, and maintaining building access through keys, proximity cards, and security systems.

You'll be someone our team can count on—helping support the day-to-day functions of the Facilities Office, stepping in where needed, and making sure the behind-the-scenes details don't get in the way of ministry.

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and service-minded. Someone who communicates well with people, pays attention to details, and understands that creating a welcoming and well-prepared environment is one way we serve the people God brings through our doors.

If you enjoy coordinating details, solving problems, and using your gifts to help ministry happen, we'd love to talk.
